7 Easy DIY Kid CostumesMom's Coffee
Spooky Season is here!
You know what that means … costumes, AND, if you're anything like me, chances are you haven't thought much about costumes yet. Life is crazy, so I thought I'd share this for some inspiration.
I’m a believer that homemade costumes are way cuter! Plus, they can be cheap and easy too.
Here are 7 of my favorite DIY costumes I found while searching this last week. If you're still looking for some super cute ideas, I hope this list helps!
I think I died when I saw this costume. Your little scarecrow may not scare any birds away, but they’ll look dang cute trying! Super easy to make, just get some burlap, fake flowers, overalls and that one stick of eyeliner you never use for this quick hour-long costume.
Unicorns are bigger than ever! My Niece is obsessed and can’t even say the word right. This one takes felt and hot glue but no needles!
Im my humble opinion, Candy Corn is gross. I’ve been corrected, cause here’s candy corn that is so worth it! Perfect for a little one.
Do you have some yellow paint and cardboard? If you said yes, you have a costume and a kid throwing it back so hard that all the parents will be wishing they were young and in an arcade.
A classic that looks so good! You’d never know this was DIY at first!
Chances are you have or know of a kid going through a train phase. It’s like a right of passage. There is also a good chance you have an empty diaper box laying around. Here’s a costume that puts your empty box to work and looks great!
Great for a toddler and warm as well. Here’s a quick way to make the super spooky, super cute!
Bottom line, I think Halloween is so fun. It doesn’t HAVE to have all the advance preparations like some of the bigger holiday, and, the best part, YOU KNOW I’m going to be placing a “mom tax” on my favorite candy at the end of the day.
